7 Questions to Ask Before Choosing a Windshield Cash-Back Company in Arizona
Cash-back advertising makes windshield companies easy to compare by one number.
$100.
$200.
$300.
But that number does not tell you whether the company is installing the right windshield or handling the claim correctly.
Ask these seven questions first.
1. What exact windshield will you install?
Give the shop the year, make, model, trim, and VIN when possible.
The windshield should support the equipment actually installed on your vehicle, including cameras, sensors, heating, acoustic layers, heads-up display systems, and other options.
2. Does my vehicle require ADAS calibration?
Do not assume every vehicle does. Do not assume yours does not.
Ask what manufacturer procedure applies to your exact vehicle.
If recalibration is required, ask who performs it and how the shop confirms it was completed successfully.

3. What are you billing my insurance company?
You should understand the services being performed even when insurance pays the claim.
The bill should represent the actual repair, replacement, and related work.
If there is a service you do not understand, ask why your vehicle requires it.
4. What deductible applies to my claim?
Arizona does not mean automatic free glass for every driver.
Your policy and the approved claim determine the deductible.

5. How much cash back do I actually qualify for?
Pay attention to "up to."
An advertisement may show a maximum, while your vehicle or claim qualifies for a different amount.
Ask for the exact expected rebate before scheduling.
6. What warranty comes with the replacement?
A cash payment is used once. A warranty can matter later.
Ask what happens if you experience a water leak, wind noise, installation defect, loose molding, or another workmanship issue.
Make sure you know who to call after the job.
7. What happens if calibration fails?
If your vehicle requires calibration, ask what the process is when the first attempt is not successful.
The shop should have a clear answer rather than sending you away without telling you the system was not calibrated.
Bonus question: Why are you recommending replacement?
A cash-back promotion should not create the reason for a claim.
The recommendation should be based on the actual windshield damage, whether repair is appropriate, safety, and applicable procedures.
Never allow someone to create or enlarge damage to justify a replacement.
Compare more than the check
A good windshield company should be able to explain the glass, coverage, deductible, installation, calibration, warranty, insurance billing, and promotion.
That is far more useful than comparing two giant cash-back numbers.

Arizona rules that matter
Arizona law makes a few points especially relevant to auto glass claims. A.R.S. 20-463.01 prohibits knowingly submitting false auto-glass claims, including claims for services that were not provided. Arizona's ADAS glass law also requires certain disclosures and requires recalibration work to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications when it is performed.
For the insurance side, Arizona law addresses optional deductible treatment for damaged safety equipment, which includes windshield glass. Your actual policy and approved claim determine whether you owe a deductible.
